Day 1: Arrive for Group Meeting and VIP Night on Strip (H) Day 2: Free Day to explore “Sin City” (H) GRAND CANYON Day 3: Cross over Colorado River and engineering marvel, the Hoover Dam. Optional Grand Canyon helicopter flight (C) Day 4: Sunrise at Mather Point and hiking down into the Grand Canyon to Plateau Point (C) ZION NATIONAL PARK Day 5: On our way to Zion drive along the Canyon and visit the historic Watchtower (C) Day 6: Hike to Angel’s Landing, visit Emerald's Pools and Weeping Rock (C) PARIA CANYON RANCH Day 7: Ranch experience horseback rides/cowboy dinner (C) MONUMENT VALLEY Day 8: Jeep Tour and traditional Native American Hogan Experience (C) ARCHES NATIONAL PARK Day 9: Iconic Delicate Arch Sunset Hike (C) Day 10: Explore Devil’s Garden and Landscape Arch (C) Day 11: Free Day for Optional Activities (C) SALT LAKE CITY Day 13: Delve into the historic Temple Square (H) Day 12: Camp at Antelope Island and visit Great Salt Lake (C) JACKSON Day 14: Explore an eclectic mountain town set in Gold Rush architecture (C) YELLOWSTONE Day 15: Explore Snake River, Grand Teton NP, and “Old Faithful” of Yellowstone (C) Day 16: Exploring Mammoth Hot Springs & Firehole River (C) Day 17: “Grand Canyon” of Yellowstone & Norris Geyser Basin (C) BIG SKY COUNTRY Day 18: Join the trail of Lewis & Clark (C) Day 19: Cross into Canada to camp along the footlhills of the Rockies (C) CALGARY Day 20: For some the adventure ends here, for others we will traverse into the Canadian Rockies (H) Day 21: Free Day in Calgary (H) BANFF/Lake Louise Days 22-23: Day 22 will include a visit to Lake Louise and a hike up to Lake Agnes or Valley of Six Glaciers. Day 23 enjoy the small but vibrant town of Banff, hike Tunnel/Sulphur Mountains or visit the Banff Hot Springs (optional) to soak overlooking the Canadian Rockies. (C) ICEFIELDS PARKWAY Day 24: One of the most picturesque drives in all of North America. Make sure batteries are charged because your camera will be firing non-stop with all the breathtaking views. (C) JASPER Day 25-26: Less touristy than Banff, Jasper is no less an entertaining little town. Hiking, mountain biking and other activities are available. (C) YELLOWHEAD HIGHWAY Day 27: Traverse Alberta into British Columbia along the Yellowhead Highway. Camp along the Fraser Lake and explore this old fur-trading post area. (C) ‘KSAN VILLAGE Day 28: Visit the ‘Ksan or Nisga’a Historical Village where you’ll experience the village and learn of its heritage as it has existed for centuries (C) MEZIADIN LAKE Day 29: A frequent hotspot for bears, we’ll make our way to the start of the Cassiar Highway. A visit to the Bear Glacier is not to be missed. (BC) CASSIAR HIGHWAY Day 30: One of the most scenic and prolific roads to spot black bear or moose. “Into the wild” is an understatement. (BC) |
TESLIN/WATSON LAKE Days 31:Home of the Tlingit First Nation, whose livelihood is centered around traditional hunting, trapping and fishing. Make sure to get out your creative side for the “Sign Forest.” (C) WHITEHORSE Day 32-33: Whitehorse is located on the Yukon River where you can check out the old paddleboat, the SS Klondike. Included in the trip is a visit to the Takhini Hot Springs and a canoe trip on the Yukon River. (C) DAWSON CITY Day 34-35: A visit to this lively and historic city perpetually set in 1896, includes checking out Diamond Tooth Gertie’s Gambling Hall, gold panning, and trying the Sour Toe Cocktail. (C) TOK Day 36: Cross over the Yukon River on a short ferry ride to drive the Top of the World Highway. See remnants of old mining operations along the way to Chicken, AK. (C) ANCHORAGE Day 37: A beautiful drive on our final day surrounded by the Wrangell and Chugach Mountains. There are some spectacular views of the Matanuska glacier on our way to Anchorage (H) Day 38/39: Free time in Anchorage (H) SEWARD Days 40-42: Cruise along orcas, humpbacks and sea lions. See calving glaciers and hike Exit Glacier (C) HOMER Day 43: Camp on the Homer Spit with volcanic views (C) ADVENTURE CAMP Day 44-45: Roughing it in style and guided sea kayaking (LC) HOPE Day 46: Explore Fishermen Culture along Cook Inlet and First Gold Rush Town in Alaska (BC) ANCHORAGE Day 47: Beluga Point and optional city tours, exploring Anchorage city nightlife (H) DENALI NATIONAL PARK Days 48-50: Explore the famous National Park by tour bus, spot bears and moose and trail blaze in the wilderness (C) MACLAREN RIVER LODGE Days 51-52: Camp next to Maclaren Glacier in the wilderness under Alaska’s stars and enjoy the rustic lodge the following day (BC/C) WRANGELL/ST. ELIAS NATIONAL PARK Days 53-55: Camp alongside river in largest National Park in North America.
